Algeria Partnership Strengthens: LONGi Completes GSE Training at RE2SD, Advancing Solar Education

James sign MOU with RE2SD in April, in Algeria

29 Oct, 2025, Bonta, Algeria

LONGi is proud to announce the successful completion of its GSE software training for students at campus of RE2SD (Higher National School of Renewable Energies, Environment & Sustainable Development) in Algeria.

This initiative is a key milestone in our growing partnership with RE2SD, building directly on the recent delivery of high-efficiency Hi-MO 9 module samples to school for support of LAB material.

The collaboration, initiated after ink of MOU between James Jin,president,LONGi MEA&CA)and Dr. Leila,MOKHNACHE,Director of RE2SD, underscores a shared commitment to advancing renewable energy capacity and knowledge transfer in the region. An upcoming session on green hydrogen will further solidify this educational partnership.

This partnership is a core part of LONGi’s mission to drive the global energy transition through innovation and local empowerment.

What is GSE?

LONGi GSE Pioneer is a software developed based on the web page to comprehensively solve the problems in the utility PV power station (development) design. It covers the necessary processes for PV power station design, e.g. light resource, master plan, electrical works, structure, civil works, electricity generation, technology and economy. LONGi GSE Pioneer considers the requirements of “quickness” and “accuracy” in the previous design tasks at the same time. With the help of one-stop design, GSE has multiple algorithms developed by LONGi while completely breaking traditional PV design processes, e.g. electricity generation algorithm considering all loss models and equipment layout optimization algorithm, so that the software design depth meets the requirements of professional designers.
