Becsa Launches India’s First HJT Solar Module, Revolutionising Solar Technology

Becsa, part of the Becquer Energy companies, India’s leading solar technology firm, has launched the country’s first HJT (Heterojunction Technology) solar module, branded as BEC-HJT, with BIS approval. This module is miles ahead of the traditional solar modules being made and sold by all regular OEMs , and provides a massive improvement of 15% in the output, 20% In heat tolerance and reduced degradation over the years. When put all together, for MW scale projects, this translates into crores of extra income or savings, whichever way one sees it.

This groundbreaking technology integrates solar cells with any building material, allowing for versatile applications across a variety of buildings, factories, and superstructures. Becquer’s HJT modules were used in the solar façade installation at D’décor’sTarapur manufacturing facility, Asia’s largest solar façade. The HJT technology offers increased efficiency, better heat tolerance, and a reduced need for space, making it an ideal solution for new construction projects with complex or aesthetic design requirements.

Becquer’s technology has already powered factories for leading industries including automobiles, steel, and FMCG. With improved module performance and a 30- year warranty, Becquer’s HJT modules promise higher returns on investment and long-term durability in India’s tropical climate.
