Finnish cryogenic measurement systems manufacturer Bluefors has appointed Greg Parker as the President of its cryocoolers business in Syracuse, New York, effective 3 August.
Parker succeeds Rich Dausman, who will remain with the business until 30 September 2026 to support the leadership transition. He will also join the Bluefors leadership team.
Bringing more than 20 years of industry experience, Parker will lead the commercial and operational development of the Syracuse business, overseeing around 200 employees.

He joins the company from global mechatronics supplier Marquardt, where he most recently served as director of Home and Industrial Solutions (HIS) for the US operations. He also held a range of leadership roles at US power management company Eaton.

In March 2023, Bluefors Syracuse-based cryocooler technology and manufacturing company Cryomech.
The acquisition expanded Bluefors’ US presence and integrated the business into the country’s cryogenic product supply chain, with around one-third of the company’s employees based in the state of New York following the deal.
Bluefors Syracuse now develops and manufactures Cryomech cryocoolers from Cryomech’s former headquarters.
Crycoolers are refrigeration systems designed to achieve cryogenic temperatures for applications including scientific research, quantum computing and advanced industrial processes.
