Emerge and Pipetec Sign Agreement for 510 kWp Rooftop Solar PV System at KEZAD Facility

Emerge, a joint venture between Masdar and EDF, has entered into a strategic agreement with Pipetec to develop a rooftop solar photovoltaic (PV) project at Pipetec’s industrial facility located in the Khalifa Economic Zones Abu Dhabi (KEZAD).

Announced during the “Make it in the Emirates 2025” forum, the agreement covers the installation, financing, and operation of a 510 kWp rooftop solar PV system—marking the first phase of Pipetec’s transition to renewable energy.

The solar project reflects both companies’ commitment to advancing clean energy solutions in the UAE’s industrial sector and aligns with the nation’s broader decarbonization targets under the UAE Energy Strategy 2050.

Key stakeholders involved in this milestone collaboration include Ibraheem Almansouri, Aurélien Delahaye, Michel Abi Saab, Heena Kalantri, and Vinay Kalantri.

The partnership reinforces KEZAD’s growing role as a hub for sustainable industrial development and highlights the private sector’s active contribution to the country’s green energy ambitions.
