Fourth Partner Energy Executes 75 MWp Open Access Solar Park In Maharashtra

Fourth Partner Energy has announced the successful execution of its 75 MWp open access solar park in Bodwad, Maharashtra. The project covers approximately 185 acres, including land allocated for solar power generation and electrical infrastructure. The development includes 50 MW of grid connectivity at the 132 kV level with the Maharashtra State Electricity Transmission Company Limited (MSETCL).

The successful execution of the solar park marks an important milestone for the company’s renewable energy development activities. The project involved extensive planning, engineering coordination, infrastructure development and collaboration among multiple stakeholders to achieve commissioning within the required timelines.

During the development process, the company addressed several challenges related to land acquisition, ground preparation, civil construction, electrical works and transmission line infrastructure. Coordinating these activities within strict project schedules required effective planning and continuous monitoring. Aligning external contractors and other project partners with internal teams was also a key part of ensuring smooth execution.

Fourth Partner Energy adopted a structured approach to managing these challenges. The company secured the necessary no-objection certificates (NOCs), statutory approvals and other regulatory clearances before beginning physical construction activities. This approach helped establish the required compliance framework and supported the timely commencement of work at the project site.

The company also implemented continuous on-site monitoring, detailed planning and proactive decision-making to identify and resolve operational bottlenecks. These measures helped maintain coordination between different workstreams and address execution-related issues as they emerged.

Close collaboration with external stakeholders, including MSETCL and contractors, played an important role in completing the project. Coordination between the company’s internal teams and external partners supported the development of the electrical infrastructure and facilitated the commissioning process.

The project highlights the importance of regulatory preparedness, infrastructure planning and stakeholder coordination in executing large-scale open access solar developments. Such projects can support the expansion of renewable energy infrastructure by enabling electricity consumers to access solar power through open access arrangements, subject to applicable regulations and contractual structures.

With the successful execution of the 75 MWp solar park in Bodwad, Fourth Partner Energy has added another renewable energy development to Maharashtra’s solar infrastructure. The project reflects the operational and engineering efforts required to deliver utility-scale solar facilities while maintaining a focus on safety, compliance and execution timelines.
