Traders monitoring the rising Indian Green Energy Index at the NSE trading floor.

Green energy stocks witnessed mixed trading on June 10, 2026, with most renewable energy and clean energy-related companies ending the session in negative territory despite a marginal gain in the broader market. The benchmark S&P BSE Sensex closed at 73,983.18, registering a slight increase of 0.09%, indicating overall market stability. However, several green energy stocks faced selling pressure during the trading session.

Among the notable performers, Larsen & Toubro (L&T) emerged as the top gainer in the green energy segment. The company’s shares rose 1.06% on the BSE to close at ₹3,942.00. Borosil Renewables also ended in positive territory, gaining 0.95% to settle at ₹531.95 on the BSE. Sterling and Wilson Renewable Energy recorded a modest gain of 0.27%, closing at ₹201.20.

On the losing side, Inox Wind was among the worst-performing stocks of the day. The company’s shares declined 3.96% on the BSE to ₹82.77. Praj Industries also witnessed significant selling pressure, falling 3.75% to close at ₹342.90. Adani Green Energy slipped 3.18% to ₹1,485.90, while Insolation Energy declined 2.62% to ₹115.25.
