Iberdrola has unveiled niba, its own 100% digital corporate start-up, designed to respond swiftly to evolving market demands. The initiative reflects the company’s commitment to innovation, customer orientation, and the integration of artificial intelligence to enhance user experience.

As a leading energy provider, Iberdrola is taking a bold step forward with this pioneering platform aimed at anticipating and addressing future customer expectations. niba introduces a new way of engaging with the utility—fully digital, intelligent, and geared toward a more interactive and conscious approach to energy management.

At the heart of niba is a customer-focused model tailored to today’s digital consumers who prefer managing their energy needs entirely online. All customer service operations are handled by in-house staff, ensuring a more personalized, friendly experience aligned with Iberdrola’s core values. Mariola Martínez, Managing Director of the start-up: “niba was created as the first neo-energy company, with the aim of bringing energy closer to people, in the same way that neobanks transformed the financial experience. The project is based on advanced technology that will offer customers a unique experience through hyper-personalisation and data. It is a time for innovation, and the launch of niba reinforces the group’s commitment to always being at the forefront.”
