Indian Green Energy Stocks Rally As Sensex Surges 1.7% On November 2

The Indian stock market witnessed a strong positive trading session on November 2, 2026, with benchmark indices gaining amid increased buying interest across industrial, energy and renewable energy stocks. The S&P BSE SENSEX advanced 1.7% to close at 75,692.8 points, reflecting improved investor sentiment. The positive market movement also supported several companies operating in the green energy and allied sectors, with notable gains recorded on both the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) and the National Stock Exchange (NSE).

Praj Industries emerged as the leading gainer among green energy-related stocks, surging 12.4% during the session. Reliance Industries followed with a strong increase of 9.6%. Inox Wind also recorded significant buying interest, rising between 7.15% and 8.70% to close at ₹59.79 on the BSE and ₹60.00 on the NSE. The performance reflected positive investor participation in selected renewable energy and industrial companies.
