INOXAP commissions first ultra-high purity liquid oxygen facility in India

INOX Air Products has commissioned an ultra-high purity (UHP) liquid oxygen plant at Hosur, Tamil Nadu.

It marks a milestone in strengthening India’s advanced manufacturing industry, especially for emerging sectors such as semiconductor and solar cell manufacturing.

The facility, strategically located in one of the industrial hubs of south India, produces 6N grade (99.9999% purity) UHP liquid oxygen with a capacity of 17 tonnes per day (500 Nm³/hr).

Siddharth Jain, Managing Director, INOXAP, said that true progress for India lies in building capabilities within the country that power its future industries.
