Koraam Powered by Kosol Energie Secures 4th Order from MSEDCL for Solar Water Pumping Systems

Koraam, powered by Kosol Energie Pvt. Ltd., a Grade-A Top Tier-1 Global Solar Manufacturer and a leading solar EPC and module manufacturing company in India, has secured its fourth order from Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Company Limited (MSEDCL) for the deployment of solar water pumping systems under the Magel Tyala Saur Krushi Pump Yojana (MTSKPY).

The Letter of Empanelment includes the installation of 2,933 solar water pumps across Maharashtra, further strengthening Koraam’s presence in the state’s agricultural solar segment.

The scope of the project encompasses end-to-end execution, including design, manufacturing, supply, installation, testing, and commissioning of solar-powered pumping systems. Koraam will also ensure reliable after-sales support, reinforcing long-term performance and operational efficiency.

This project aligns with the Government of India’s push under the PM-KUSUM scheme to promote solar-powered irrigation solutions. By enabling farmers to adopt off-grid solar pumps, the initiative reduces dependence on conventional energy sources while ensuring consistent water access for agricultural activities.

Farmers in Maharashtra will benefit from solarised irrigation through world-class Koraam–Kosol solar pumps, enabling access to reliable and sustainable energy for agricultural activities.

Koraam powered by Kosol Energie is committed to delivering only world-class products to farmers, with a strong focus on uplifting farmer incomes and lifestyles by enhancing productivity and agri-income through renewable energy solutions designed around the needs of the agricultural ecosystem and value chain.

The Koraam–Kosol solar pumping systems are powered by high-performance Kosol solar PV modules (535 Wp and 450 Wp), specifically optimized for agricultural pumping applications. These modules are built using high-efficiency solar cells to ensure maximum energy generation even under varying environmental conditions. With a low temperature coefficient, they deliver consistent performance in high-temperature regions, making them ideal for rural and agricultural use. The modules are equipped with anti-reflective coated glass to enhance light absorption and improve overall efficiency. Designed as an eco-friendly and sustainable solution, Kosol’s solar modules ensure long-term reliability, durability, and optimal output for farmers.

This order marks a key milestone for Koraam powered by Kosol Energie in expanding its footprint in the solar agricultural segment. It highlights the company’s capability to execute large-scale government-backed projects and strengthens its position as a trusted solution provider in solar pumping infrastructure.

As India accelerates its transition toward clean energy and sustainable farming, Koraam continues to play a vital role in delivering efficient, scalable, and farmer-centric solar solutions.
