French industrial valve manufacturer Meca-Inox has acquired Spanish industrial valve specialist Bac Valves to build its presence across the European market.
The purchase forms part of Meca-Inox’s international development strategy and also includes the company’s China-based subsidiary Bac Valves (Dalian).
Bac Valves existing manufacturing site in Dalian, China, will be consolidated with Meca-Inox’s Dalian production site to serve the wider Asian market.
Meca-Inox manufactures industrial cryogenic, butterfly and ball valves in stainless steel and carbon steel.
Through the acquisition, the company has strengthened its butterfly and ball valve manufacturing capabilities, for chemical, petrochemical, gas and processing applications.
The financial terms of the acquisition were not disclosed.
