US industrial gas platform Meritus Gas Partners has strengthened its Southern California team by promoting Matt McClelland and Robby DePasquale to General Sales Manager roles.
With years of industrial gas experience, the pair will lead the sales team as Meritus continues to integrate Craig Welding Supply and High Precision Gas into its Southern California platform, Cameron Welding Supply.
Craig Welding Supply and Cameron Welding Supply are both independent industrial gas distributors. Craig Welding Supply became part of Meritus in 2023, and Cameron Welding Supply in August 2025.
McClelland has worked in management roles for more than 30 years and entered the industrial gas sector with one of the majors. Since joining Meritus, he has worked with Craig Welding Supply, including developing its Long Beach territory and supporting the integration with Cameron.
DePasquale has worked across several roles in the industrial gas and welding supply business, including counter sales, branch management and outside sales.
The appointments follow Ryan Brubaker’s move from sales management to general management and come as Meritus consolidates Craig Welding Supply and High Precision Gas into its Southern California platform, Cameron Welding Supply.
