NTPC Invites Bids for AMC Of Inverters At 10 MW Solar PV Plant In Ramagundam, Telangana

NTPC Limited has invited bids for the Annual Maintenance Contract (AMC) of inverters at the 10 MW Solar PV Plant located at Ramagundam Super Thermal Power Station, Telangana. The tender is being issued by the Unified Shared Services Center – Central Procurement Group-3 under the Contracts and Materials Department at Simhadri Super Thermal Power Station, Visakhapatnam.

The bidding will follow a single-stage, single-envelope system comprising both techno-commercial and price bids. The duration of the contract is 12 months from the date of award. NTPC has kept the provision for contract validity extension of up to three additional months on the same terms and conditions if required.

The Security Deposit (SD) or Contract Performance Guarantee required from the successful bidder is 5% of the contract value. This amount shall be deducted as per Clause 26 of the Special Conditions of Contract (SCC) and will be released only after the successful completion of the contract and defect liability period. The defect liability period for this contract is specified as 3 months after contract completion. However, bidders must upload a signed copy of the scope of work in their technical bid as an acceptance of the same.

As per the tender guidelines, liquidated damages for delay will be charged at 0.5% per week or part thereof, with a maximum cap of 5% of the purchase order value. Safety compliance is mandatory, and 5% of the contract value is linked to safety performance. The price bids are to be submitted in item rate format with applicable GST rates mentioned in the BOQ Excel sheet. Bidders who are exempted from GST must submit valid exemption documentation. If no GST rate is mentioned, it will be treated as included in the quoted price.

The bid submission deadline is 14 April 2025. Evaluation of bids will be done on a lump sum basis, and the price basis is fixed.
