Sineng Electric Achieves CQC Certification for 1250kW Grid-Forming PCS, Reinforcing Technological Leadership in Energy Storage

Beijing, China, April 11, 2025 — At ESIE 2025, Sineng Electric’s 1250kW central PCS has been awarded certification for its grid-forming technology by the China Quality Certification Centre (CQC). This accomplishment reaffirms Sineng’s continued leadership in the energy storage sector.

The certification was issued in accordance with the standards CQC/PV15001-2024 and CQC/PV15002-2024, following a comprehensive evaluation by CQC’s expert technical team. As one of China’s most authoritative and internationally recognized certification bodies, CQC ensures rigorous quality and performance benchmarks across the industry.

Sineng’s PCS underwent extensive testing, including active and reactive power control, charge/discharge efficiency, overloading capacity, primary frequency regulation, voltage regulation, inertia support, damping control, short-circuit ratio, grid-forming/grid-following switching, and black start capability. The results confirmed its full compliance with all requirements, validating the product’s robustness and reliability under complex grid conditions.

Leveraging Sineng’s advanced grid-forming technology, the 1250kW central PCS is designed to meet the evolving demands of high renewable energy penetration. The certification not only highlights Sineng’s technical excellence and product reliability but also positions the company at the forefront of building a more resilient and flexible energy infrastructure―fully aligned with global clean energy objectives.
