Stem, a global leader in AI-powered clean energy software and services, has announced that its PowerTrack™ software platform is now the standard system used across Summit Ridge Energy’s (Summit Ridge) operational portfolio of 200 solar sites, which collectively generate 514 megawatts (MW) of power. Summit Ridge, a leading U.S. developer, owner, and operator of commercial solar projects, is leveraging PowerTrack to enhance the performance, efficiency, and management of its expanding renewable energy portfolio.

Will Jurith, Vice President of Asset Management, Summit Ridge Energy, said “As the U.S. expands its energy mix to a more resilient and decentralized system, solar will continue to play a critical role in strengthening the grid and enhancing energy independence. Summit Ridge Energy is leading the way in scaling commercial solar to help meet that need. By standardizing on Stem’s PowerTrack, we have a unified platform that allows us to optimize performance, reduce downtime, and seamlessly integrate new projects – ensuring our portfolio grows efficiently while delivering greater value to the grid, local businesses, and communities.”

This collaboration supports Summit Ridge’s efforts to accelerate the deployment of distributed energy resources at a time when extreme weather events and rising electricity demand are putting increasing pressure on the U.S. electric grid. By integrating PowerTrack, Summit Ridge is able to bring more commercial-scale solar projects online, helping to alleviate grid congestion, improve energy reliability, and provide businesses and households with cost-effective, sustainable power.

Cedric Brehaut, Senior Vice President of Product, Stem, mentioned “Summit Ridge Energy’s leadership in commercial solar directly contributes to making the U.S. grid more resilient and secure. By leveraging PowerTrack, they are streamlining the commissioning and ongoing operation of their asset portfolio and continue to demonstrate industry-leading execution to deliver diversified, reliable, locally generated energy to our communities.”

PowerTrack equips Summit Ridge with the ability to efficiently commission, monitor, optimize, and control its solar energy assets. The platform provides real-time performance insights, advanced analytics, and customized reporting, enabling data-driven decision-making and proactive energy management. Additionally, PowerTrack’s broad compatibility with various equipment manufacturers ensures seamless integration across diverse systems, allowing Summit Ridge to scale its operations while maintaining standardization across its growing asset base. The platform’s configurable dashboards and tailored reports offer clear visibility into system performance, supporting operational efficiency and transparency.
