SWELECT Energy Systems Appoints Pradeep Kumar Madhur as Chief Business Officer

SWELECT Energy Systems Limited has appointed Pradeep Kumar Madhur as Chief Business Officer (CBO), effective October 1, 2026. He will serve as a Senior Management Personnel of the company, according to a regulatory filing with the National Stock Exchange of India.

Madhur brings more than 17 years of experience in the energy and power infrastructure sector across India and the Asia-Pacific region, with expertise spanning solar PV, battery energy storage systems (BESS), grid integration, business strategy, P&L management, regulatory affairs and cross-border operations.

Prior to joining SWELECT Energy Systems, Madhur served as Senior Director and Country Business Leader at LONGi Solar’s Indian business, where he was responsible for operations generating annual revenues exceeding USD 1 billion. During his tenure, the Indian business moved from 17th position to the leading market-share position within approximately 12 months and retained its leadership from 2020 to 2022, according to the company’s disclosure.

Earlier, Madhur was part of the founding team of Sungrow India, contributing to the establishment of its Indian operations and the deployment of more than 4 GW of solar inverters over three years. He has also held leadership positions in the power systems businesses of Raychem RPG and Crompton Greaves, managing key accounts associated with large-scale thermal power and high-voltage grid projects.

His areas of expertise include subsidiary governance, joint venture structuring, P&L management, regulatory and tax risk management, statutory audit oversight, and energy-transition technologies including solar PV, BESS and grid integration.

Madhur holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical & Electronics Engineering from M.S. Ramaiah Institute of Technology and an MBA in International Business from Sikkim Manipal University.

The appointment strengthens SWELECT Energy Systems’ senior management team as the company continues its activities across the renewable energy and power infrastructure sectors.
