Waaree Energies Limited has announced that it has received an order for the supply of solar modules with a capacity of 410 MWp. The order has been placed by ABREL EPC Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary of Aditya Birla Renewables Limited, which is involved in the development and operation of renewable power projects in India.

The contract specifies that Waaree Energies will supply solar PV modules to ABREL EPC Limited. This is a one-time order from a domestic entity, and the supply of modules is scheduled to commence in the financial year 2025-26. The company has confirmed that there are no connections between the awarding entity and its promoter group or related party transactions.

The announcement was made in compliance with Regulation 30 of the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements Regulations, 2015. The disclosure was also made following SEBI’s circular issued on July 13, 2023, which mandates listed companies to provide detailed information about significant contracts and agreements.

The contract highlights the increasing demand for solar energy solutions in India and reflects the growing role of Waaree Energies in the renewable energy sector. With the scheduled supply beginning in the next financial year, this order further strengthens the company’s position as a key supplier of solar PV modules in the Indian market.
