2GW Cleaning Robots! LEAPTING and Indian Energy Giant Adani Have Reached A Project Cooperation Agreement

After LEAPTING reached a 1GW project cooperation agreement with ReNew Power just a few days ago, LEAPTING recently officially signed an intelligent equipment supply agreement with Adani, a leading Indian energy conglomerate. Under the agreement, LEAPTING will provide Automatic G1 Cleaning Robots and integrated intelligent cleaning service systems for the Adani 2GW photovoltaic project, further supporting India’s clean energy development goals.

Strategic Partnership to Establish a New Standard for Solar Plant Maintenance in India

Public information indicates that the Adani Group is one of the world’s leading solar energy developers, with its business scope covering multiple areas such as photovoltaic manufacturing and project development. As one of the top five solar module suppliers in India, the group is committed to achieving an installed capacity target of 45GW for renewable energy projects by 2030. Since its establishment, LEAPTING has maintained an efficient and close strategic partnership with Adani Solar. As of now, LEAPTING has cumulatively deployed intelligent cleaning robot solutions for Adani Solar across 7GW of photovoltaic projects.

Enhancing Power Generation through Efficient Dust Removal

The project site is located in a region of India highly susceptible to dust storms, where alternating high-temperature and high-humidity conditions combined with severe dust accumulation have become critical factors limiting power generation efficiency—dust buildup can reduce photovoltaic module output by 20% to 40%. Conventional maintenance methods, such as manual cleaning or water washing, are neither scalable nor sustainable for large-scale solar plants. In contrast, the automatic navigation module, which is to be deployed at the site, is now widely adopted across India’s utility-scale solar installations and has become the standard solution for solar plant cleaning. Equipped with fully automated, waterless cleaning technology, these robots effectively address common challenges, including high dust accumulation, water scarcity, and diverse terrain conditions, ensuring stable component performance and enhancing system reliability and energy yield.

LEAPTING G1 – Designed for Indian Utility-Scale Solar Plants

LEAPTING G1 Automatic Solar Module Cleaning Robot is widely used in large solar installations and well suited for India’s operational needs:

• Fully automatic, unmanned operation, reducing reliance on manual labor

• Water-free dry-cleaning technology, supporting sustainability and water conservation

• Optimized for tracker-based solar plants, ensuring smooth and reliable movement

• High cleaning efficiency, helping maintain optimal plant performance throughout the year

• Low operating and maintenance costs, enhancing overall plant economics

• Proven performance in dusty, high-temperature environments

Driving Industry Excellence in Solar Plant Module Cleaning Solutions

Since entering the Indian market, LEAPTING has conducted in-depth analysis of local solar plant cleaning challenges and implemented targeted strategies. Leveraging its advanced, reliable product offerings and comprehensive service system, LEAPTING has established a strong competitive position. Moving forward, LEAPTING will continue to deepen its presence in India by delivering stable, high-performance robotic cleaning solutions, reinforcing its role as a benchmark provider in the field of intelligent solar plant maintenance.
