Adani Green Energy Limited (AGEL) has announced the incorporation of a new step-down subsidiary, Adani Hydro Energy Five Limited (AHE5L). This move aligns with the company’s vision of expanding its renewable energy portfolio.

AHE5L, fully owned by Adani Saur Urja (KA) Limited, a wholly-owned subsidiary of AGEL, was registered on November 26, 2024, with the Registrar of Companies in Gujarat. The entity has an authorized and paid-up capital of ₹1,00,000 and is set to operate in the renewable energy sector, focusing on power generation using wind, solar, and other green energy sources. AHE5L has not yet commenced business operations.

AGEL clarified that the incorporation does not involve related-party transactions or require regulatory approvals. The initiative underscores the company’s commitment to diversifying its renewable energy capabilities while adhering to its primary business objectives.

As part of AGEL’s strategic plan, this step positions the company to further harness India’s renewable energy potential, leveraging sustainable resources to meet rising energy demands. The development is expected to contribute significantly to AGEL’s growing footprint in clean energy solutions, cementing its role as a leader in sustainable power generation.

For records and future updates, AGEL assured stakeholders of full compliance with SEBI regulations and timely disclosures.
