Enfinity Global, a U.S.-based renewable energy company, has signed Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs) in Italy with an American technology firm. Under this deal, Enfinity will supply clean energy from a 420 megawatt (MW) portfolio of solar photovoltaic (PV) projects.
Carlos Domenech, CEO of Enfinity Global, stated, “We are pleased to continue supporting our customers across diverse sectors in Italy as they advance their energy transition. Our goal is to serve global and local customers in their renewable energy needs.”
Founded in 2019, Enfinity Global develops and operates renewable energy and storage projects around the world. It currently manages a portfolio of 35.5 gigawatts (GW) and is negotiating another 37 GW across the U.S. The company has offices in the U.S., Europe, Japan, and India, and focuses on supporting the transition to a low-carbon economy.
Enfinity’s team has financed over $41 billion in renewable energy projects and developed or acquired more than 26 GW in solar and wind energy. In Italy, Enfinity leads the solar PPA market, having secured 805 MW in agreements over the past two years with major businesses.
