Endurans Solar Welcomes New CEO And Launches U.S.-Made Backsheet & Encapsulant Products

Endurans Solar, a leading U.S.-based supplier of advanced materials for the solar industry, has appointed Nate Coleman as its Chief Executive Officer. Mr. Coleman is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in the solar industry, known for driving innovation and delivering high-quality solar solutions. Before joining Endurans, Mr. Coleman served as Chief Technology Officer at Erthos and Chief Product Officer at SunPower. His career also includes leadership roles at Tesla/SolarCity, Sunrun, Zola, and Zep Solar, where he played a key role in developing and launching renewable energy products.

Nate Coleman stated, “I am thrilled to join Endurans at such an exciting time in its journey. The company’s track record of innovation and commitment to advancing solar technology aligns perfectly with my vision of creating sustainable growth while delivering exceptional value to our customer.”

Endurans Solar extends its heartfelt gratitude to Nathan Arbitman, the outgoing CEO, for his outstanding leadership and commitment. During his tenure, Mr. Arbitman played a pivotal role in driving the company’s growth in the U.S. and establishing a solid foundation for its future. Mr. Arbitman will continue to support Endurans in an advisory role as a member of the company’s Board of Directors.

Eric Danziger, Endurans Board member and Managing Director at Riverbend Energy Group, mentioned, “On behalf of the Board and the entire team, we thank Nathan for his vision and thoughtful leadership. He has positioned the company as a trusted partner to the solar industry and set us up for continued growth in North America.”

As the demand for American-made solar products continues to rise, Endurans Solar is thrilled to introduce a range of new backsheet and encapsulant products to meet growing customer needs and contribute to reshoring the U.S. solar supply chain. The new offerings include a high-reflective black backsheet designed to maximize power output for residential solar modules, a transparent backsheet providing glass-like protection for bifacial utility-scale modules, and a multi-layer EPE encapsulant offering exceptional moisture resistance to safeguard advanced cell technologies such as TOPCon and HJT. These innovations underscore Endurans’ commitment to delivering cutting-edge solutions for the evolving solar industry.

Endurans Solar, headquartered in Nashua, New Hampshire, specializes in designing and manufacturing advanced materials for solar photovoltaic modules. With expertise in polymer science, co-extrusion, and solar technology, the company develops innovative solutions for solar panel manufacturers worldwide. Endurans’ products are particularly valuable for U.S.-based module makers, helping them meet domestic content requirements, boost profitability, and support the clean energy transition while strengthening the onshoring of the U.S. supply chain.
