Suzlon Energy Limited has allotted 6,40,726 fully paid-up equity shares following the exercise of stock options under its Employee Stock Option Plan 2022 (ESOP 2022).
The Securities Issue Committee of the Board approved the allotment through a circular resolution on 18 September 2026. The shares, having a face value of ₹2 each, were allotted to eligible employees of Suzlon Energy and its subsidiaries in dematerialised form. The company realised ₹1.87 crore from the exercise of these options.
The allotment covers options exercised under three grants. Under Grant 1, dated 22 May 2023, employees exercised options for 80,000 shares at an exercise price of ₹5 per share, generating ₹4 lakh.
Under Grant 2, dated 23 May 2024, 4,09,752 shares were allotted at an exercise price of ₹30 per share, resulting in ₹1.23 crore in proceeds. Under Grant 5, dated 19 May 2025, employees exercised options for 1,50,974 shares at ₹40 per share, generating ₹60.39 lakh.
Following the allotment, Suzlon Energy’s paid-up share capital increased to ₹2,749.26 crore, comprising 137.46 crore fully paid-up equity shares with a face value of ₹2 each.
The company made the disclosure under Regulation 30 of the SEBI Listing Regulations, read with the SEBI Share Based Employee Benefits and Sweat Equity Regulations.
