Altus Power Expands In Maine With Three New Community Solar Projects Now Operational

Altus Power, the leading commercial-scale clean energy provider, has acquired three solar projects in Maine, adding 12.8 MW of capacity. These projects, purchased from multiple developers, align with Altus Power’s strategy to grow its presence and deliver immediate benefits to local communities.

Matt Marlow, co-Head of Investment and Structured Finance, Altus Power, said in a statement, “Our ability to acquire and develop solar assets from a variety of partners allows us to scale quickly and efficiently, ensuring that the economic and environmental benefits of solar power reach more enterprises and households. We’re proud to help Maine communities access the benefits of clean energy while contributing to the state’s leadership in renewable innovation.”

Altus Power’s new community solar projects in Maine will provide clean energy to over 3,300 households, helping them save on energy bills while reducing carbon emissions. The company is dedicated to expanding its solar initiatives in states that prioritize renewable energy. Altus Power, a leader in Community Solar, supports over 30,000 subscribers across the country. It offers clean energy savings to homeowners and renters of all income levels, without requiring them to install individual solar panels.
