AMPYR Distributed Energy (ADE), a leading investor in onsite renewable energy solutions, will once again headline the Commercial & Industrial (C&I) Theatre at this year’s Solar & Storage Live exhibition. Held at The NEC in Birmingham from 23–25 September, the event is expected to welcome over 20,000 attendees, 500 exhibitors, and 250 speakers, all focused on advancing the adoption of solar energy.

As theatre sponsor, ADE will support 23 sessions, including speeches, presentations, and panel debates exploring the global acceleration of commercial and industrial solar deployment. Discussions will cover project finance optimisation, advances in battery energy storage solutions (BESS), developments in power purchase agreements (PPAs), as well as strategies for strengthening supply chains and meeting sustainability goals.

John Behan, CEO of ADE, said: “As the leading event for professionals working across residential, commercial, industrial and utility-scale solar and storage, S&SL is a major event in the energy calendar. Sponsoring the C&I Theatre for the second year running demonstrates our commitment to leading the distributed energy conversation and supporting the global acceleration of renewable energy – not just for today, but for the future.

“Since last year’s event, ADE has continued to scale rapidly. Alongside further bolstering our team with a number of experienced new appointments, we recently secured a £170m debt facility to support the acceleration of our UK solar and BESS projects. As part of our ambitious growth strategy, we also acquired renewable energy developer Eden Sustainable, while our internationalisation programme has seen the business successfully expand into Germany.

“Throughout Solar & Storage Live, our team will be based around the C&I theatre and we welcome conversations with like-minded professionals.”
