Puducherry Government and SECI Sign MoU for Solarization of All Government Buildings in the Union Territory

The Government of Puducherry and the Solar Energy Corporation of India (SECI) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to implement solar power projects across all government buildings in the Union Territory of Puducherry.

The MoU was signed and exchanged by Smt. R. Smitha, IAS, Managing Director of the Renewable Energy Agency of Puducherry (REAP), and Sh. Manas Ranjan Mishra, Deputy General Manager and Head of Solar at SECI, representing their respective organizations.

Dr. A. Muthamma, IAS, Commissioner cum Secretary of the Power Department, Government of Puducherry, along with other officials from SECI, were present during the signing ceremony.

This partnership marks a significant step toward promoting clean energy adoption and sustainability in government infrastructure within Puducherry.
