Castillo Engineering to Deliver Full-Scope Services for Six Utility-Scale Solar Projects in Illinois

Six MISO Utility-Scale Solar Projects Designed for Recon Co. by Castillo Engineering

Castillo Engineering has been picked by Recon Corporation to deliver full-scope engineering services for six new utility-scale solar projects across Illinois, located in Manteno, Elburn, Franklin Grove, and other sites spanning agricultural and conservation-sensitive land.

For each project, Castillo is providing a comprehensive range of civil and electrical engineering services, including power system and ampacity studies, structural and cable tray calculations, equipment pad design, relay settings, and PVsyst modeling. The portfolio builds on the companies’ longstanding collaboration, underscoring their shared commitment to technical precision and dependable project delivery.
