The 3rd edition of Mauritius Clean Energy Week 2025 concluded on an energizing note at the Hennessy Park Hotel, sparking renewed commitment to the island’s clean energy ambitions. As Mauritius positions itself as a renewable energy leader in the Indian Ocean, this influential gathering ignited new ideas, bold collaborations, and actionable momentum across the sector.

Set against the backdrop of global climate goals and local transition targets, the event served as a high-powered platform for industry leaders, innovators, and public sector champions to connect, share, and accelerate progress on real-world energy solutions.

Gracing the event was Guest of Honour Prof. Theesan Bahorun, Executive Director of the Mauritius Research and Innovation Council (MRIC), whose presence underscored the nation’s innovation-first approach. The Keynote Address by Prof. (Dr.) Khalil Elahee, Chairperson of MARENA, offered a compelling vision for advancing clean energy integration through research, policy alignment, and regional synergy.
