The 11th edition of the EcoWASTE Exhibition and Forum is set to take place from January 14 to 16, 2025, at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre (ADNEC). Co-hosted by Tadweer Group as a strategic partner, the event will run under the theme “Waste Management in the Circular Economy” and is part of the World Future Energy Summit, which forms a key segment of Abu Dhabi Sustainability Week, organized by Masdar.

The event aims to solidify the UAE’s leadership in waste utilization and the development of a circular economy, contributing to national efforts to achieve carbon neutrality.

Strategic Vision by Tadweer Group
Eng. Ali Al Dhaheri, Managing Director and CEO of Tadweer Group, underscored the group’s commitment to innovation in waste management. He stated, “Tadweer Group seeks to transform waste from an environmental burden into a valuable resource by investing in the latest technologies and forging global partnerships. Our continued support for this platform reaffirms our dedication to sustainable development and innovation in tackling waste-related challenges.”

Through its participation, Tadweer aims to accelerate the adoption of cutting-edge technologies, build robust partnerships, and promote sustainable growth globally. The group will showcase its achievements and initiatives at the Environmental Majlis and two dedicated platforms within the exhibition space, focusing on carbon-free solutions and waste transformation projects.

Highlighting Global Innovation and Collaboration
The EcoWASTE Exhibition and Forum will convene global leaders, environmental experts, and innovators to discuss solutions for urgent climate challenges. Keynote sessions will explore critical topics such as:

  • Circular economy standards and policies.
  • Managing waste from emerging sectors like electric vehicle batteries and solar panels.
  • Advancing zero-waste strategies and modern waste-to-energy processes.
  • Integrating energy recovery solutions into circular systems.

The event will also spotlight Tadweer’s pioneering efforts in organic waste management, seen as a cornerstone for achieving global sustainability goals.

A Platform for Technological Advancements
Participants will witness cutting-edge waste management technologies, from artificial intelligence and blockchain to automation, which are expected to drive higher recycling rates and reduce landfill dependence. Additionally, the GCC countries are uniting to achieve the ambitious target of diverting 100% of waste from landfills, emphasizing education, public acceptance, and incentivization to address environmental challenges.

Prominent Speakers and Partnerships
Keynote addresses and panel discussions will feature industry leaders, including representatives from Tadweer Group, 3M, IFFCO Group, Bee’ah, Arthur D. Little, Alserkal Group, and the UAE Circular Economy Council. Lynn Al Sibai, General Manager of RX Middle East and Chair of the World Future Energy Summit, highlighted the event’s transformative potential, stating, “EcoWASTE 2025 will serve as a laboratory for innovation and partnerships, enabling change-makers to develop cross-sector solutions for a sustainable future.”

Impactful Outcomes Expected
The event aims to position EcoWASTE as a premier platform for innovation, collaboration, and knowledge exchange, furthering efforts to convert waste into clean energy and advance global sustainability initiatives.
