Global specialty chemical company Element Solutions has completed its acquisition of EFC Gases & Advanced Materials, which was first announced in November.
EFC is a Massachusetts-based high-purity rare gas technologies company that works across the semiconductor manufacturing, aerospace, and electrical infrastructure industries, supplying high-purity specialty gases and other advanced materials. Since 2023, EFC has also grown the number of semiconductor product qualifications in its portfolio by more than 40%.
The company believes that, as part of Element Solutions, it will be better positioned to expand its role as a supplier of high-purity specialty gases and advanced materials.
Pavel Perlov, President and CEO of EFC, said, “This transaction allows us to deliver on our ambitious objectives for our next chapter.”
