SWELECT Energy Systems Limited has announced the rollout of its SWEES EN+ solar hybrid inverter range, targeting commercial and industrial (C&I) customers with systems ranging from 5 kW to 50 kW. The range can be scaled beyond 50 kW to accommodate increasing energy requirements.
The hybrid inverter range is designed to integrate solar generation, battery energy storage, and grid power through a single system. SWELECT said the solutions can be configured according to a customer’s load profile, solar generation capacity, storage requirements, and operational needs.
The SWEES EN+ range has received certification from the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) under the Compulsory Registration Scheme (CRS). According to the company, the certification enables the planned rollout of the products in Q2 FY27.
The company said the product range is intended to address the growing requirements of businesses seeking to optimize the use of on-site solar generation and incorporate energy storage for backup and power management.
The modular design allows customers to begin with a system aligned with their current requirements and add capacity as their operations and energy demand increase.
Commenting on the development, Dr. Arulkumar Shanmugasundaram, CEO and Managing Director, SWELECT Energy Systems Limited, said, “With the BIS certification for our hybrid inverters, we are now rolling out the SWEES EN+ range from 5 kW to 50 kW, with a strong focus on the evolving energy requirements of C&I customers.”
He added that the range has been designed with scalability to allow solutions to be configured based on varying load profiles, operational requirements, and future energy needs.
The rollout expands SWELECT’s energy solutions portfolio and builds on its activities across solar manufacturing, engineering, procurement and construction (EPC), power electronics, and energy storage.
Established in 1984, SWELECT Energy Systems operates across independent power production (IPP), ground-mounted and rooftop EPC, and channel-driven energy products. Its manufacturing portfolio includes solar PV modules, module mounting structures, string combiner boxes, AC distribution boxes, and DC distribution boxes.
The company also has expertise in UPS systems and power electronics through the Numeric brand, which formed part of its earlier business operations before the company transitioned to the SWELECT identity in 2012.
