Adani Green Energy Ltd has announced the creation of a new step-down subsidiary dedicated to the production and distribution of electricity from renewable energy sources. The new entity, named Skyspin Energy Limited, has been formed to support the company’s continued expansion in India’s rapidly growing clean energy sector.

According to the announcement, Skyspin Energy Limited will focus on generating, distributing, and selling electricity produced from onshore wind, solar, and other renewable technologies. The company has been established as a wholly owned subsidiary of Adani Renewable Energy Holding Eleven Ltd, making it a step-down subsidiary of Adani Green Energy Ltd. Skyspin has an authorised and paid-up share capital of INR 100,000.

Adani Green Energy is part of the larger Adani Group and remains one of India’s leading renewable energy developers. By the end of 2025, the company had reached an operational capacity of 17.2 GW, following an additional 5.6 GW commissioned over the nine months ending in December 2025.

Adani Green is currently developing an ambitious 30-GW renewable energy complex at Khavda in Gujarat and has set a long-term goal of achieving 50 GW of operational renewable capacity by 2030. The establishment of Skyspin Energy Limited reflects Adani Green’s broader strategy to strengthen its project pipeline, enhance operational efficiency, and support the continued expansion of India’s renewable energy landscape.
