Standard Solar Expands Massachusetts Operations With Acquisition Of Churchill Street Solar Farm From Sunfarm Solar

Standard Solar, a top commercial and community solar developer and asset owner, has acquired the Churchill Street Solar Farm from Sunfarm Solar. This acquisition expands Standard Solar’s portfolio in Massachusetts. The 3.2 megawatt (MW) project, located in Pittsfield, is among the largest ground-mounted solar installations in the Northeast, with five separate arrays. This move further establishes Standard Solar’s ability and commitment to acquiring premium solar projects. The smooth transaction demonstrates the company’s successful collaboration with developers like Sunfarm Solar, leading to positive results for everyone involved.

Megan Byrn, Vice President of Business Development, Standard Solar, stated “The Churchill Street Solar Farm project exemplifies Standard Solar’s strong appetite and expertise for acquiring high-quality operating assets that drive clean energy adoption.
