US industrial, medical, and specialty gas distributor Airgas is celebrating 10 years under Air Liquide ownership after the French industrial gas major completed its acquisition in 2016.
The established Air Liquide as one of the largest players in the North American market.
As an Air Liquide company, Airgas has strengthened its e-commerce, telesales and specialised services across the US and Canadian industrial gas markets.
Supported by the acquisition of Airgas’ existing multi-channel US distribution network, Air Liquide has raised its annual revenue by around €10.6bn ($12.3bn) from 2015 levels.
In 2016, the combined businesses were projected to generate annual sales of more than €20bn ($23.3bn), with Air Liquide securing revenues close to €27bn ($31.4bn) in 2025.
