API Shows Fall in Weekly US Crude Stocks, Rise in Fuel Inventories, Sources Say

HOUSTON, July 28 (Reuters) – U.S. crude inventories ​fell, while fuel ‌stocks rose last week, market sources ​said on ​Tuesday, citing data from ⁠the American ​Petroleum Institute.

Crude stocks ​fell by about 3.3 million barrels in ​the week ​ended July 24, the sources ‌said ⁠on condition of anonymity.

Gasoline inventories rose by ​918,000 ​barrels, ⁠while distillate inventories climbed 355,000 ​barrels compared ​with ⁠a week earlier, the sources ⁠said.
