Fujiyama Power Systems Limited has commissioned a 2 GW power electronics manufacturing facility at Ratlam, Madhya Pradesh, expanding its manufacturing capacity across the rooftop solar value chain.
The newly commissioned facility will manufacture solar inverters, UPS systems and other power electronics products. With the addition of the Ratlam facility, Fujiyama’s total power electronics manufacturing capacity has increased to 4.2 GW.
The facility forms part of the company’s greenfield manufacturing expansion at Ratlam. Fujiyama had commissioned a 2 GW solar panel manufacturing facility at the site in May, with the latest commissioning marking the next phase of development of the integrated manufacturing complex. The company’s battery manufacturing facility at the complex is also progressing as planned.
Commenting on the development, Pawan Kumar Garg, Chairman and Joint Managing Director of Fujiyama Power Systems, said the new facility would strengthen the company’s power electronics manufacturing capabilities amid growing demand for rooftop solar solutions in India. He added that the expansion is expected to support operational efficiencies, supply chain integration and the company’s long-term growth strategy.
