Truzon Secures EPC Order For 72 MW Solar Projects Under PM-KUSUM In Maharashtra

Truzon Clean Energies Pvt. Ltd., formerly known as Suntek Energy Systems Pvt. Ltd., has secured a ₹236 crore engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) order from Hariom Power & Energy Private Limited for developing 72 MW of ground-mounted solar projects in Maharashtra. The order has been disclosed by Hari Om, a listed company, in accordance with Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) guidelines. Of the total contracted capacity, Truzon has already executed 15 MW.

The projects are being developed under the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Urja Suraksha evam Utthaan Mahabhiyan (PM-KUSUM) Component C scheme. The installations are spread across four Maharashtra districts: Hingoli, Latur, Parbhani and Beed. The projects aim to support agricultural solarisation and strengthen the adoption of solar energy in the agricultural sector.

Under the EPC contract, Truzon will be responsible for the complete project execution process, including design, engineering, procurement, construction, installation, testing, commissioning and performance demonstration. Once commissioned, the projects are expected to generate approximately 89.89 million units of electricity annually, depending on final project specifications and operating conditions.

Charugundla Bhavani Suresh, Managing Director of Truzon Solar, described the order as a significant milestone for the company and an endorsement of the trust it has established with its customers. He thanked Roopesh Gupta and Hariom Power & Energy for selecting Truzon for the project. He added that the company’s commitment extends beyond commissioning, with continued attention to plant performance, engineering expertise, quality standards and proactive service.

Srinivas Jakkula, Chief Executive Officer of Truzon Solar, said executing 72 MW across four districts requires precise engineering and close coordination. The company’s teams are focusing on integrated planning across procurement, site mobilisation, construction and quality assurance. He emphasised that the objective is to deliver reliable solar infrastructure that meets project specifications, with safety and long-term performance remaining central to execution.

Roopesh Gupta, Managing Director of Hari Om Industries, said the two companies have maintained a business association for six years. He attributed the decision to award the project to Truzon’s consistent quality standards and proactive after-sales service. According to him, the company’s team anticipates service requirements and frequently contacts customers before issues are raised, strengthening confidence in project performance and the long-term partnership.
