Solidus Techno Power Private Limited has announced the successful delivery of a 27.31 MWh Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) integrated with a 50 MW solar power project for SBF Ispat Private Limited. The company provided comprehensive engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) services for the project, marking a significant development in its expanding portfolio of integrated solar and energy storage solutions.
The project represents an important milestone for Solidus Techno Power as it strengthens its presence in India’s commercial and industrial (C&I) renewable energy sector. By combining solar power generation with battery energy storage, the installation is designed to support more effective utilisation of renewable electricity and provide greater operational flexibility for industrial energy requirements.
The integration of battery storage with solar installations is becoming increasingly relevant for industrial consumers seeking to optimise renewable energy consumption and manage variations in solar generation. Such systems can store surplus solar electricity and make it available during periods of lower generation or higher electricity demand, depending on the project’s operating configuration.
Commenting on the development, Jaspal Singh, CEO and Co-founder of Solidus Techno Power Private Limited, said, “Solar power combined with battery storage offers industries greater flexibility and helps them utilise renewable energy more effectively.”
Alongside its solar EPC and renewable energy development activities, Solidus Techno Power is expanding its presence in the energy storage manufacturing segment through its subsidiary, XenRosh ESS. The subsidiary focuses on manufacturing battery energy storage systems to address the growing requirements of commercial and industrial customers.
Harvinder Singh, Managing Director of Solidus Techno Power, said, “This project strengthens Solidus’s integrated clean-energy portfolio. Through XenRosh ESS, we are expanding our BESS manufacturing capabilities with a focus on quality, safety and reliability.”
The company’s expansion into battery energy storage manufacturing reflects its broader strategy of developing capabilities across renewable energy project execution and storage technology. Through XenRosh ESS, Solidus aims to strengthen its ability to serve customers seeking integrated solar and storage solutions.
The development comes as India’s industrial sector increasingly explores renewable energy and storage integration to improve energy management and support decarbonisation objectives. Battery storage is emerging as an important component of such projects, enabling more flexible utilisation of solar electricity and supporting the transition towards cleaner industrial energy systems.
With the delivery of the 27.31 MWh BESS integrated with the 50 MW solar project, Solidus Techno Power continues to expand its solar and storage EPC portfolio while building additional capabilities in domestic battery energy storage manufacturing.
