Karamtara Engineering Secures INR 1,199 Crore Orders Across Transmission and Renewable Energy Businesses

Karamtara Engineering Limited, an Indian manufacturer serving the transmission infrastructure and renewable energy sectors, has secured new orders worth approximately ₹1,199 crore across its transmission line and renewable energy business segments. The latest order wins are expected to strengthen the company’s order book and support its growth as investments in power transmission and clean energy infrastructure continue to expand.

The new contracts reflect customer confidence in Karamtara Engineering’s manufacturing capabilities, product quality and project execution expertise. The company expects the orders to improve revenue visibility during the execution period and contribute to its business performance.

Commenting on the development, Rajiv Singh, Joint Managing Director of Karamtara Engineering, said the new orders significantly strengthen the company’s order book and reinforce its position as a trusted partner in India’s energy transition. He added that the company remains focused on operational excellence, sustainable growth and long-term value creation.

Karamtara Engineering manufactures a wide range of products used in renewable energy projects and electricity transmission networks. Its portfolio includes solar module mounting structures, solar tracker piles and piers, solar torque tubes, lattice transmission towers, angular and tubular wind towers, fasteners, and conductor and insulator hardware fittings. These products support the development of solar and wind power projects, as well as the expansion and strengthening of transmission infrastructure.

The company is also expanding its product portfolio to address emerging industrial requirements. Its planned and developing product lines include solar stamping parts, pre-engineered buildings designed for data centres, and battery energy storage systems. These areas provide opportunities to serve customers involved in renewable energy deployment, electricity infrastructure development and the growing demand for energy storage solutions.

Karamtara Engineering operates advanced manufacturing facilities across India and has an established presence in Italy. It is also preparing to establish a new facility in Saudi Arabia, which could further strengthen its international manufacturing and supply capabilities.

The company exports its products to more than 50 countries and serves a diverse customer base, including global original equipment manufacturers, engineering, procurement and construction contractors, and independent power producers. Its international operations and export network support its participation in renewable energy and transmission infrastructure markets worldwide.

The ₹1,199 crore order win comes as countries continue to invest in renewable energy capacity, electricity transmission networks and supporting infrastructure. With its established manufacturing capabilities and expanding product portfolio, Karamtara Engineering is positioned to pursue further opportunities in the evolving global energy sector.
