Adapture Renewables, Inc., a developer, owner, and operator of large-scale solar and energy storage projects, has acquired a 110 MW solar and 110 MW battery energy storage project from Samsung C&T Renewables, the renewable energy arm of Samsung C&T America. This marks Adapture Renewables’ first project in Colorado and strengthens its presence in the western U.S. while expanding its portfolio of hybrid energy facilities.

Christina Conrad, VP of Mergers & Acquisitions at Adapture Renewables, said in a statement, “This acquisition is an important step for Adapture Renewables as we expand into the Colorado market. The Haynach project fits seamlessly into our long-term growth strategy of entering new markets and integrating additional battery storage projects. We are excited to bring this project to fruition and contribute to the region’s renewable energy capacity.”

The project, known as Haynach Solar, is located in Colorado, a state aiming to achieve 100% clean electricity generation by 2040. Combining solar power with battery storage will help improve grid stability, manage peak electricity demand, and increase overall efficiency. As the project moves forward, Adapture Renewables plans to engage with the local community and stakeholders through transparent communication and regular updates. Haynach Solar is expected to be fully operational by 2029.
