Adani Green Energy Twenty-Five B Limited, a wholly-owned step-down subsidiary of Adani Green Energy Limited (AGEL), has commissioned an 83 MW solar power project at Khavda, Gujarat. The project became operational on March 1, 2025, after receiving the necessary clearances. The decision to begin operations was made at 10:26 a.m. on the same day.

With the commissioning of this new plant, AGEL’s total operational renewable energy capacity has now reached 12,341.1 MW. The company continues to expand its renewable energy portfolio, reinforcing its commitment to clean energy and sustainability.

This development marks another step in AGEL’s strategy to enhance India’s renewable energy generation. The Khavda solar project is expected to contribute significantly to the country’s growing green energy needs. AGEL has been steadily increasing its capacity across solar, wind, and hybrid projects, aligning with its long-term goal of becoming a global leader in renewable energy.

The company remains focused on accelerating its renewable power generation capacity to support India’s energy transition and meet the nation’s sustainability targets. The successful operationalization of the Khavda project is a testament to AGEL’s commitment to achieving large-scale renewable energy deployment.
