BluPine CEO Discuss Sustainable Gujarat Vision at GCCI Summit, Emphasizing Commitment to ESG and Clean Energy

At the recent GCCI Gujarat Sustainability Summit – 2025, Neerav Nanavaty, CEO of BluPine Energy, joined industry leaders to discuss “Vision for a Sustainable Gujarat: How would we meet the 2070 target?”

With climate challenges intensifying, Neerav emphasized the urgent need for collective action to accelerate the clean energy transition. Gujarat, a leader in India’s renewable energy journey, contributes over 14% of the country’s total renewable energy capacity, driven by progressive policies and a thriving ecosystem.

Neerav also highlighted BluPine Energy’s alignment with strong ESG commitments, supported by its investor, Actis. For BluPine, sustainability extends beyond delivering renewable energy projects; it is focused on creating lasting impacts. The company’s 198 MW wind farm near Gir Forest serves as a prime example, built with a strong emphasis on environmental stewardship and community empowerment.

Through its Skill Development Training Program, BluPine is addressing the industry’s skill gap, prioritizing local workforce upskilling, and promoting greater female participation in the renewable energy sector.

As Gujarat continues its leadership, collaboration between the government, businesses, and innovators will be essential in meeting India’s 500 GW renewable energy target by 2030. Investments in advanced technologies like battery storage and grid infrastructure are key to enhancing energy security, increasing renewable penetration, and driving industrial competitiveness.
