Electronics accounted for 42% of Air Liquide’s €6.2bn ($6.9bn) investment backlog, with the French industrial gases group signing more projects in the sector in the first nine months of 2026 than during the whole of last year.

The share was from the first half, when electronics made up around 40% of the €6bn ($6.7bn) backlog.
