EnerMAN’s RMS SCADA digitizing PM-KUSUM Projects

At EnerMAN, we play a key role in advancing the digital backbone of rural renewable energy systems under MNRE’s PM-KUSUM program by deploying an integrated architecture of live monitoring, secure data management, and advanced analytics that elevate the operational stability and long-term performance of decentralised solar assets across India. As a technology partner to PM-KUSUM – distributed grid-connected photovoltaic plants, we at EnerMAN, support the goals of the program by offering real time data management and monitoring solutions that are crucial for maximising the performance of solar assets.

Our contribution begins at the Solar PV plant, the ETi-EDGE Local Monitoring System, which provides on-site, real-time tracking of solar PV plant equipment performance, capable of interfacing with inverters, energy meters, string-level instrumentation, and environmental sensors via industrial protocols such as Modbus-RTU/TCP/DLMS communication. ETi-EDGE performs continuous minute wise parameter acquisition 24/7, inverter health checks, real-time anomaly detection, and fault identification to ensure that all PM-KUSUM projects operate within optimal thresholds while alerting maintenance interventions whenever deviations occur. The system transmits data securely using MQTT with encryption and authentication aligned to MNRE, CEA, and DISCOM cybersecurity standards, ensuring consistent, authenticated, and compliant data flow to central servers and government portals.

At the remote cloud servers, EnerMAN strengthens operational intelligence through the RMS/ Remote Monitoring SCADA (ETI-SOL), facilitates data-driven decision-making by offering secured, scalable remote access to performance analytics, live and historical 24/7 data access from anywhere in the world through Web Application user friendly Software and Mobile Apps (both Android and iOS) . ETi-SOL has the features of – Centralized Monitoring System (CMS) / Remote Monitoring System (RMS) which allows the plant owner to view multiple plants live data in single platform efficiently. ETi-SOL consolidates distributed solar assets into a unified digital environment supporting granular performance tracking, asset benchmarking. ETI-SOL integrates advanced machine learning algorithms capable of detecting PV modules and inverters derating events and long-term degradation patterns, allowing asset operators to implement predictive maintenance strategies and optimise energy yield across diverse field conditions. The ETi-SOL / ETi-EDGE exchanges data seamlessly with MNRE’s Solar Energy Data Management (SEDM) platform, through structured, time-synchronised and secured protocols, ensuring full regulatory compliance.

With more than 100 MW of PM-KUSUM solar PV plants already digitized with EnerMAN’s SCADA / RMS and 400MW of projects are actively progressing across India, EnerMAN continues to contribute towards technological evolution of decentralised clean energy infrastructure with made in India end-to-end affordable products (hardware, firmware, software, mobiles apps), delivering superior system reliability, deep analytics-driven insights, and long-term value that accelerates India’s transition toward sustainable, data-driven clean/green energy systems.
