GoodWe, a global provider of solar inverters and energy storage solutions, has successfully completed the installation of an advanced solar and storage system at the Alpine Hotel in Nathiagali, Pakistan, in partnership with Nizam Energy. Commissioned four months ago, the project is the first large-scale solar installation in the region and represents a major step forward in advancing sustainable energy and eco-tourism in northern Pakistan.

The system features GoodWe’s ET Series 50kW Hybrid Inverter paired with a 100kWh battery storage setup, comprising two BAT-50 battery units, and supported by a GoodWe Static Transfer Switch (STS). Together, these components deliver a reliable and efficient energy management solution, reducing the hotel’s dependence on the national grid and backup generators.

Since commissioning, the system has operated smoothly, even under the challenging weather conditions of the area, generating approximately 64,000 kWh of clean electricity annually. This output offsets a significant portion of the hotel’s energy consumption and provides estimated annual savings of around PKR 3.6 million.

By deploying this hybrid solar solution, Alpine Hotel has enhanced operational efficiency, reduced carbon emissions, and lowered reliance on fossil fuels. The integration of solar, battery storage, and synchronized generator backup ensures reliable and cost-effective energy management, while supporting the growth of green eco-tourism in the region.
