Jakson Engineers Delivers 100 MW Solar Modules To GIPCL Under Supply Deal

Jakson Engineers Limited, a part of Jakson Group, has successfully supplied 100 MW of solar PV modules to Gujarat Industries Power Company Limited (GIPCL) for its 2,375 MW Renewable Energy Park near Khavda, Gujarat. This milestone supports India’s clean energy goals while strengthening GIPCL’s efforts to cut carbon emissions and enhance energy security.

Jakson Engineers is the first to complete its contract, delivering approximately 1,90,000 units of its advanced PERC (Helia Plus) bifacial solar panels, produced by Jakson Solar Modules and Cells. The company also announced plans to invest around INR 2,000 crore ($215.9 million) in a new 2.5 GW solar cell manufacturing facility and expand its solar module production capacity from 1.2 GW to 2 GW.

Mr. Anurag Garg, CEO of Jakson Solar Modules and Cells, mentioned, “We are proud to partner with GIPCL on this landmark project. Our team demonstrated exceptional execution, setting new benchmarks for efficiency and dependability. This project reaffirms our commitment to the rapidly evolving solar industry, delivering high-quality products while supporting India’s ambitious green energy goals. We are optimistic about the future and eager to play a crucial role in transforming India’s renewable energy landscape, fostering domestic manufacturing, and strengthening its position as a global leader in sustainable practices.”
