KPI Green Energy Signs ₹1,311.40 Crore Contract With Coal India For 300 MW Solar Plant In Gujarat

KPI Green Energy Limited has successfully signed a contract with Coal India Limited to develop a 300 MWAC grid-connected ground-mounted solar power plant at GIPCL’s Solar Park in Khavda, Gujarat. This follows previous communications dated November 30, 2024, and December 2, 2024, regarding the project. The contract, valued at ₹1,311.40 Crore, also includes Operation and Maintenance (O&M) services for five years, with the completion of the plant expected by November 2025.

The announcement marks an important milestone in the company’s growth and its contribution to India’s renewable energy goals. The project aligns with the company’s ambitious target of achieving 10 GW capacity by 2030. This development is part of the ongoing efforts to promote sustainable energy solutions and accelerate India’s transition to renewable energy, reinforcing the company’s role in the nation’s energy landscape.
