At World Hydrogen Week 2025, LONGi Hydrogen introduced two groundbreaking solutions — LONGi HyBlock and LONGi HySmart — marking a major step forward in the company’s mission to accelerate large-scale green hydrogen production. Together, these innovations represent a comprehensive advance across equipment design, modular system engineering, and intelligent operations, reflecting LONGi Hydrogen’s holistic approach to sustainable hydrogen deployment.

Since its founding in 2021, LONGi Hydrogen has achieved more than 500 MW in cumulative global orders, with projects spanning 10 countries and regions. Through experience in both pilot and commercial-scale installations, the company has developed a deep understanding of the practical and economic challenges facing the rapidly evolving hydrogen industry.

As hydrogen projects scale up, developers are confronted with growing pressures on both capital and operational expenditures — from high equipment costs and complex system integration to increasing energy and maintenance expenses. Addressing these challenges calls for solutions that combine cost efficiency, flexibility, and long-term reliability.

LONGi’s two new solutions — HyBlock and HySmart — provide a unified response to these industry needs. HyBlock, a fully modular outdoor hydrogen production platform, is designed to reduce capital costs and streamline project execution through a standardized system architecture. HySmart, on the other hand, leverages digitalization and intelligent monitoring to continuously optimize operations and lower maintenance costs. Working together, the two systems help operators achieve more competitive, efficient, and sustainable hydrogen production economics.

LONGi HyBlock redefines the design of large-scale hydrogen facilities, supporting projects ranging from hundreds of megawatts to gigawatt capacity. Moving away from traditional indoor layouts, the outdoor modular design integrates factory preassembly and value-engineering principles, allowing electrolyzer systems to operate reliably in diverse environmental conditions. By shifting complex system integration from the construction site to the factory floor, HyBlock minimizes on-site work, accelerates project timelines, and enhances overall project manageability and cost-effectiveness.

With the launch of HyBlock and HySmart, LONGi Hydrogen reinforces its position as a global innovator driving the next phase of the green hydrogen revolution.
