NGS, a leader in retrofit glazing security solutions and energy-efficient solar films, has become a nationally authorized dealer-installer of Invisicade products. This partnership expands access to advanced glazing technologies for K-12 schools, retailers, building owners, and energy service companies across the country.

The Invisicade product line offers top-tier security and energy efficiency solutions, including Crisis Shield CS-650, Crisis Shield+, Solar Control Window Films, and Window Insert technologies. Designed for strength, safety, and sustainability, these products undergo rigorous independent testing to ensure compliance with the latest standards while enhancing building security and energy performance.

“This exclusive partnership ensures that NGS brings you the highest quality, cutting-edge protection for your properties, backed by industry-leading manufacturing expertise alongside the market leadership and expertise from NGS,” mentioned James Beale, CEO at NGS.

With increasing incidents of retail crime, forced entry, and campus attacks, a high-performance glazing security laminate was developed to enhance safety. This product, originally marketed under a different name, has been installed on over 690,000 square feet of glass in U.S. schools, retail stores, and commercial spaces since 2018.

When the original partnership ended, the manufacturer sought a new distributor to expand its reach. Viscera Brands secured exclusive U.S. rights, rebranded it as Crisis Shield CS-650, and conducted extensive testing to prove its effectiveness. Today, NGS, the nation’s leading retrofit glazing security contractor, distributes Crisis Shield CS-650 nationwide.

The Invisicade product line is transforming glazing security with superior strength and energy efficiency. Crisis Shield CS-650 stands out for its ability to withstand forced entry attempts and attacks. It is the only retrofit film to pass ASTM F3561 Shooter Attack Level 1 testing with verified third-party approval. Manufactured with the thickest polyester available, it offers 655 lb/in break strength to resist penetration while maintaining optical clarity.

The product is backed by a 12-year manufacturer warranty, ensuring long-term durability. Its reliability is confirmed through independent third-party testing. Designed for versatility, it has been tested on 1/4″ tempered glass, the most common security glass used in buildings. Crisis Shield CS-650 allows NGS to continue its mission of protecting people and property across the education, commercial, and energy sectors, offering a trusted solution for enhanced security.
