Oriana Power Approves INR 50 Crore Investment To Support Solar Power Plant Development

Oriana Power Limited has approved an investment of up to ₹50 crore in the equity shares of its wholly owned subsidiary, Dynospark Private Limited. The investment will be made in cash through one or more tranches at the face value of the shares over the next 60 days.

The proposed capital infusion will support the development of a solar power plant being undertaken by Dynospark. The subsidiary operates in the renewable energy sector, with activities focused on electricity generation, distribution and sale, along with the development of solar power projects across India.

Dynospark Private Limited was incorporated on July 27, 2025, and is a relatively new company within the group. It currently has an authorised and paid-up share capital of ₹1 lakh. During the financial year 2025–26, the company did not report any turnover. It recorded a net loss of ₹0.66 lakh and had a net worth of ₹0.34 lakh.

Oriana Power holds 100% of the equity share capital of Dynospark, comprising 10,000 equity shares, including one share held through a nominee. The proposed investment is therefore between the company and its wholly owned subsidiary and is classified as a related-party transaction.

The company has stated that the investment will be carried out on an arm’s length basis. No promoter or promoter group member has any separate interest in Dynospark. The transaction does not require approval from any external government or regulatory authority.

The ₹50 crore investment is expected to strengthen Dynospark’s financial capacity and provide funding support for the planned solar power plant. The capital deployment also reflects Oriana Power’s focus on expanding its renewable energy project portfolio through its subsidiary structure. The investment will be completed through the planned equity share allotments within the specified period.
