SECI Signs Agreement with Prozeal Green Energy for 25 MW Solar and Battery Energy Storage Project in Leh

The Solar Energy Corporation of India (SECI) has signed a contract agreement with Prozeal Green Energy Limited for the engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) as well as the operation and maintenance (O&M) of a 25 MW/50 MWp solar project combined with a 20 MW/50 MWh Battery Energy Storage System in Taru, Leh.

The project aims to enhance the region’s renewable energy (RE) capacity and provide a stable and reliable power supply. The integration of solar power with battery storage will help to address energy needs in the region, ensuring a consistent power supply even in remote areas. This development marks a significant step forward in SECI’s mission to expand India’s renewable energy infrastructure.
